Privacy and product boundaries

Is FamiPatrol affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta?

No. FamiPatrol is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to WhatsApp or Meta.

Can I use FamiPatrol to send WhatsApp messages?

No. FamiPatrol is built for read-only backup and viewing. It does not send messages, auto-reply, bulk message, or run marketing outreach.

Is my WhatsApp session token exposed to the browser?

No. Session tokens, cookies, and related session data must stay server-side and must not be exposed to frontend browser pages.

Can I use FamiPatrol for someone else's WhatsApp account?

No. FamiPatrol only supports WhatsApp accounts the user owns and authorizes. It does not provide unauthorized access or authorization bypasses.

Is FamiPatrol a monitoring or spying tool?

No. FamiPatrol is a privacy-first, read-only backup viewer for user-authorized archives. It does not provide covert monitoring features.

Connection and data

Do I need to scan a QR code?

Yes. A user must authorize their own WhatsApp Web session by scanning a QR code from a WhatsApp account they own and control.

What data can be backed up?

FamiPatrol is designed to sync chat records, media metadata, contacts, calls, and related archive data into private storage as supported by the product implementation.

Can I delete my data?

Users should be able to manage, delete, or export their own data. The exact controls available depend on the current product implementation.

Billing and storage

How many devices are included?

The current pricing model is based on device slots. Each paid checkout currently includes one connected WhatsApp account slot.

What happens when storage is full?

Archive sync may pause or skip new media until storage is available again. Users can review storage usage and add capacity when supported.
